Nermin Oruč, a researcher at the CREDI Center, attended a conference on migration and a workshop on networking of international NGOs dealing with migration and international protection. The conference and workshop were held 15-18. February 2022 in Ankara. ICE (International Consulting Expertise) and Eurasia Social Change, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey for Migration Management, are working on a project that contributes to building the capacity of non-governmental organizations dealing with migration and migrants’ rights. The main goal of the conference and workshop was to present the results of the project so far, and to exchange experiences and practices and networking of international organizations dealing with migration issues. In addition to organizations working at the local level, the events were attended by organizations from countries around the world, and CREDI as the coordinator of the migration research network WB-MIGNET was a representative of NGOs from the Western Balkans. The activities and work of the CREDI center and WB-MIGNET network were present at the workshops.
