A book titled “Migration in the Western Balkans: What do we know?” co-edited by WB-MIGNET’s chair of the Academic Advisory Board, Prof. Russell King and by Coordinator of WB-MIGNET Nermin Oruc, was published by Taylor&Francis. The book is an outcome of recent activities of the WB-MIGNET.
The book explores issues such as the complex geopolitics of the region, the relationship between migration and development, diasporas, and refugees and humanitarianism. Expert contributors present new research on economic migration, forced migration, diaspora formation and return migration at a time when migration is of crucial relevance for the future of Europe.
